Happy Money Savers Monday Everyone!
Last week's topic was Ibotta, my favorite of all the receipt scanning, money making apps. To read that blog post click here.
This week I want to talk about the app Fetch Rewards. Like Ibotta this is an receipt scanning reimbursement app, but very different as well. It is point based reward system that gives you points for specific items and brand
They also give you a percentage amount of points based on the total amount spent in a store. This is means you will always earn points even if you don't buy any of their promotional items. They also run bonuses for particular items or brands that can earn you up into the thousands of points, for instance, a few weeks ago any brand of toilet paper would have earned you 1500 points.
Then lastly, refer a friend. You will have a referral code and links so you can easily share the app with your family and friends. With this not only do you earn points for them signing up, but also for them uploading their first receipt.

Once you have earned enough points you can redeem them for gift cards. With hundreds of stores and e-stores to choose from you will be able to find the perfect way to reward yourself with. You will be emailed the gift card code moments after going through the easy process of reaming your points.
Other benefits to Fetch is the Activity section:

It gives you a report of your spending, from the time you start using the app. It breaks it down by week, month and year and tells you how much you spent at each store. As you can tell Winco is my favorite place to grocery shop since you can by so many things in bulk, saving a lot of money on non-packaging.
The great thing about using multiple apps like Fetch and Ibotta is you can use the same receipt for all the apps. When I came home from a major shopping day, spending about $450, I will scan my receipt into 6 different apps and easily make $50 back.

Until next time,
Jacque
